But Before We Begin … Here’s A Fun Fact!
Our paint sets contain 5 jars of earthy-toned powdered paints including rust, mustard, brown/grey, maroon, and olive hues, and make up to 1.5 ltrs (give or take) of gluten-free paint. They are non-toxic and come in PET jars that are red bin recyclable.

Here are our Top 7 Nature Paint Recipes You Can Do at Home!
1. MOON SAND
2 cups of flour
¼ cup of vegetable oil
½ tsp of nature paints
In a large bowl add flour and nature paint powder, stir until the colour is mixed through evenly.
Make a well in the flour mixture and pour oil in.
Knead the mixture with your finger tips until it’s mixed together properly. When the dough sticks together it’s ready. (Add more oil if necessary.)
Repeat this for each colour.

2. HOMEMADE SENSORY FOAM
2 cans of Chickpeas
½ tsp of Cream of Tartar
½ tsp nature paints
Drain the liquid from the chickpeas (save chickpeas for another recipe) into a mixing bowl.
Add the cream of tartar and beat with a mixer until the liquid turns to a foam. You want to see those stiff peaks like you would from egg whites.
Divide the foam between 5 bowls and add each colour of nature paints to them.

3. HOMEMADE PLAYDOUGH
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 cup boiled water
½ tsp of Nature Paint
2tsp cream of tartar
1 cup plain flour
½ cup salt
In a large bowl, mix dry ingredients.
In another bowl, add in the vegetable oil, nature paint and water.
Now slowly add in your dry ingredients.
Let your dough cool and then knead. If the dough feels sticky, add more flour.
Add some bio glitter for sparkle.
*100% non-toxic and taste safe. You can also keep your dough colourless until the end and then divide your mixture to make 5 different colours.
4. FAIRY POTION
½ cup of bicarb soda
¼ cup of citric acid
½ tsp of nature paints
Water
Mix dry ingredients. (You don’t need to use all of this at once. Save some for another day)
Add water and watch the magic begin!

5. SENSORY BOTTLES
Elements of nature
– blossoms (nature)
– nature paint
– bio glitter
– water ⅓
– oil ⅔
– bottle
Mix all ingredients together for an extra special nature-filled experience!

6. HOMEMADE SLIME
1 tbsp of Psyllium Husk powder
1 cup of water
½ tsp of nature paints
In a large microwave safe bowl combine all ingredients together and mix well, until all ingredients are dissolved.
Place bowl in microwave on a high setting for 2 minutes. Once you see it start to bubble add an extra minute of cooking.
Take the bowl out, stir and microwave again for 2 minutes.
Remove and cool. As the liquid begins to cool it will thicken into slime mixture.
* *100% non-toxic and taste safe. Make sure that it’s completely cool before allowing children to play.
7. OOBLECK
1 cup cornflour
½ cup water
½ tsp of nature paints
Mix well and add extra cornflour if it too runny and add water if it seems too thick.

Our nature paint powders are for ages 1+ years
Adult supervision is needed, as some colours may stain certain fabrics. Also, it’s a good idea to use protective clothing and proper coverage to prevent stains on clothes, carpets, and floors.
